Hello everyone, Iam glad to be a new member. Does anyone know of a good soft baggage door seal? I have tried a couple and found out they were both to large for my 1965 Wren 460.
Thanks, Jim

Welcome Jim:
I had the same problem I also have a 1965. It's been several years so I don't have part numbers anymore. What we ended up doing was going through the suppliers book and going by the dimensions that we wanted. They sent us a few samples before we got the right one. It is a hollow bead sold in rolls. We then cut slits lenghtwise in the bead to so it didn't trap air. It has worked excellent and the door fits great. Hope this helps.

Hello Jim,
It is great to have another WREN in the group. I obtained some door seal weather stripping from a place that restored old cars. They had a much larger selection than the conventional suppliers. It was expensive but you don't need much. I do not recall the name of the supplier, but I am sure there are lots in your part of the world. Good luck.
How about posting some photos of your plane?

Thanks Glenn & Rod for the the replies on my baggage door seal problem. I will try and get some pictures posted of my plane. Iam installing new black carpet and leather seats this weekend and then bringing it out to my private 1100 foot airstrip next week.
