I just had the good fortune to purchase an absolutely brand new 1979 Cessna 182 with a good low time engine. I am now in the process of building it up into a 230SE (which I plan to keep and use for another demonstrator). After I get the airplane finished I will do a flight review. The 230SE is probably the most under estimated airplane I have and it performs exceptionally well. We should have it up and flying in the next couple of weeks.
I also will try to get some reports posted on some of the after market products I have tried out. Quiet flight was here not too long ago with their new ANR noise reduction system. It duplicates the working of an ANR headset but it does it with actual cabin noise instead of the headset. Mic's in the ceiling with noise cancelling speakers in the headrests. It's designed to produce a quite zone around each seat. Quite the system.
