The June 2007 issue of Plane & Pilot has an article (p. 36) on "10 backcountry airplanes." Sure enough, the 260se is included (p. 42), along with a picture of Tom's 735GH.
"The 260se is a wonderfully strange little airplane that shouldn't be able to do what it routinely does...The airplane is unnaturally good at just about everything...coming and going in 400 feet is a breeze...If the 'runway' looks tight for a 260se, you really don't need to go there. A helicopter is your best bet." :) :)
