Call for photos: 2008 260se/Katmai calendar

I am assembling photos for a 2008 260se wall calendar. Photos of Peterson airplanes and/or scenery experienced while flying them are eagerly sought! I already have plenty of photos of my own plane and Todd's 260PT demo plane.

Photos should be at least 1600 x 1200 resolution to ensure sufficient clarity when blown up to approximately 8 x 10; higher resolution is preferred e.g 2594 x 1944. A 1 megapixel or better photo should work well.

Please send to me at n812kt2002@yyy.xxx where yyy = yahoo and xxx = com and make sure you have rights to use the photo if it's not yours. Deadline for the 2008 calendar is a week from today, January 10.

I can't guarantee I'll use all of them this year; maybe for 2009!

I plan to make the calendar through iPhoto, cost would be about $20 plus shipping as I understand it.

Photos have been chosen and the actual calendar production will be handled by Bill Roberts. It's a nice collection for this first effort. You may expect a post from him either here or in the Marketplace Forum regarding details.

Hopefully I can give you some pictures next year Kevin. That's if my plane ever gets done...;)

Will you be able to order the calendar here online? If not, put me down for one.

A hard drive self-immolation for one of the principal donors of hi-res photos has put this little project on indefinite hold. As it is now nearly the end of January, it will likely not be feasible to generate the 2008 calendar in a timely fashion.

However, I am still open to photo contributions. If the collection looks sufficiently attractive for an 18 month calendar, e.g. June 2008 - December 2009, we might do that. Sorry, folks...:(
