Just installed the Garmin 500 on my plane. The instalation process call for level the plane on the ground to set the Attitude Indicator on level flight as per Cessna zero degress pitch procedure. After a few flights I found that the plane at level flight seems to fly on a 5 degrees up pitch. Indicated level flight speed 120 knots and TAS of around 127 knots at full power. Altitude 3000, 85 degrees Farenheit and 95% humidity.
My plane is the 1970 model with the Bushmaster mod.
Any idea of what I should adjust? On the canard? Maybe?

I will be picking up a G500 equipped King Katmai this afternoon from the paint/interior shop. I'm not an avionices guy but the avionics shop told me there was a proceedure to level the G500 to the aircraft pitch attitude in level flight. My guess is you will need to adjust the G500 and the proceedure sounded pretty straight forward. I'll let you know how this G500 works later today.
